Sound on PC

All of a sudden I can't hear the sound on my PC. I don't
know what to check...please help. Thanks!

I don't either since I had XP installed.. I am waiting
for my tech to find out why...I'm not impressed with
anything yet...wish I just bought a new computer.
probably would have been cheaper too !

I should have mentioned, make sure your speakers are plugged in and your
mute is not set to on.

I have a systemax Pentium 4 how would I find out the make
of soundcard? like the other poor guy I'm new to all
this. it's driving me crazy I'm blaming Broadband
