Sound Files Play Too Fast

I am trying to insert sound files into a simple movie. When I insert audio
files, the sound plays way too fast. When I open the same sound files
outside of movie maker, they play fine (that includes the Windows Media
Player). Please help

This is typically caused by third party DirectShow filters interfering with
MovieMaker. If you're using MovieMaker 2.1 in SP2 you can try turning some
of them off in the compatibility tab. See my blog entry for further details.
