sound errors?

i rebooted and now every time i click the mouse button i
get this annoying sound and my songs sound all crazy!!
any idea on what to look into to fix?
thx
 
Click Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sounds (tab), under
the Program Events: set specific sounds you want for the partitcular events.
