I had to reinstall XP home addition and now I cannot install the sound drivers. The system doesn't see the audio devices. I have gone through the troubleshooting but apparently my CD rom will not read the original XP disk? Help?

I am having the same problem, I had to reinstall my windows too, afterwards it wasnt working. We really could use some help on this...

Go to the website of your PC manufacturer and see if they have audio drivers
available for download.

If not, you will have to find out the manufacturer of the soundcard or
onboard graphics chip and go to the manufacturer's website for the drivers.,
