sound driver problems

I run Windows XP Pro - Intel Pentium 4 - 2.66 GHz using RealTek A97
sound card.
The problem I'm having is when ever I play a window media video or any
video off the internet I lose my sound drivers and have to re-install
them. Can anyone help me with this?
Or at least give me some suggestions. Thank you.

Intel Website for similar
issues encountered by others..?
