sound but no picture?

every time i try to play a video on windows media player-i can hear the sound
but the screen is just black?

help.

Hii u have this problem with any video or some video's ? few videos are divx
encoded if u dont install there codecs all u wud here is sound. if for any
video u are just hearing sound then ur codec files may be corrupted simply
reinstall or download codec pack form microsoft site:

My sound will work but the WMP screen shoots off-screen [to the right] and
can't be retrieved or viewed. Have tried re-installing but it still happens.
Any ideas? Sam
