sound added does not stop at the slide chosen in effect options

I created a presentation and added 3 songs. The first one plays and stops as
indicated. The second one continues playing and does not stop at the slide
indicated so it overlaps with the third song. Could it be the type of file
(song)?

file types, how you inserted, how set up, animations on the relevant slides
