Hello, I just imported my contact email list from an excel file. In Outlook,
the list appeared at the bottom of the contacts "space" so that there are a
zillion blank lines before my "A"s even start... I can't seem to "delete" the
blank lines.. Is there any way to sort so that my contacts appear followed
by black spaces?

When you want to display your contacts in a form or report, use a query
based on your contact list table and in the contact field set the criteria
to Not Is Null and sort ascending.

Over 1000 Access users have come to me for help. My fees are very
reasonable.

Most people here have a common belief that the newsgroups are for *free exchange of information*.
But Steve is a notorious job hunter in these groups, always trying to sell his services.

Before you intend to do business with him look at:

Are you working in MS Access, or in Outlook?
If you're in Outlook, you might do better posting in an Outlook group.
