sorting email in windows mail

Hi,

can somebody help me, how to set up windows mail to sort emails by date (to
group them by weeks/months)? Thanks a lot!

Mail can be sorted by clicking any of the column headers, Sent, From,
Received etc each click of the column header sorts by ascending or
descending.

You can't sort by weeks/months, that feature is not available.

You can group message conversation by View>current view>select group by
conversation.
 
Just to add, one can also use Edit | Find to parse messages within date
ranges.

I make sure I use a US format that uses MM/DD/YY format.

That's one of the carryovers from Outlook Express that I wish could be
fixed.
