combination sorting in windows mail?

In Windows Mail, is it possible to sort messages by name first and then go on
to sort those messages by date received or sent without upsetting the order
of the names? I notice that when I sort by name, the next sorting priority
is the subject which ends up being sorted alphabetically. I want to do name
first and then date.

WYSIWYG, the only alternative is to group your messages by conversation,
View menu>current view. Then sort by Received-newest at the top,
(descending)
