Sorry to bother re: MSN

My wife is about to install MSN 8 onto her computer (which has XP as its
OS). I've looked through their FAQ but cannot find the answer to these
questions. I know this is the wrong place to ask them so please forgive me
and point me in the right direction (an MSN 8 group) if you can Or if you
know the answers and wouldn't mind helping out we'd appreciate it:

- Can she keep her Zone Alarm?
- MSN 8 has McAfee email scanning. Can she keep her AVG or will this mess
things up? Seems to me she'll need an AV for surfing but I don't want her
email screwed up. I've wondered about turning off email scanning in AVG so
that there was no conflict.

Yes she can and should keep the AVG antivirus. I'm using AOL and they have
also added E-mail scanning. It scans mail going to and from their server,
not content on my computer or websites. I use Norton Antivirus on my
computer with no conflicts. In fact, I suspect that you could have one miss
a virus that the other have a definition for.

As to Zone Alarm, I don't use it but I believe that at worst she might have
to "tweak" it for some features to work properly.
