Sony CD/DVD Problem

Daughter bought me a Sony CD/DVD (2 discs) set with one audio and other dvd.
Both play on my pc but audio will not play on my old panasonic player.

Any simple solutions to getting it to play on my Panasonic since it's
impractical to keep playing on my pc. Try to respond in simple layman's info
as I'm somewhat ignorant in these matters.

Well this is a computer forum, not a hifi forum .... so you should at
least tell us which SOny CD so someone can look it up Google and explain it.
