Can anyone tell me what I need to do to be able to install my Sony All In One printer, Model IJP-V100, in my Windows XP environment? When I input the printer installation disk into the CD rom drive, the system does not start the install. Have also tried to use the 'install a printer' option within Control Panel with no luck.

Called Sony and they said that Microsoft did not supply them with drivers for this printer using the Windows XP upgrade. I find this frustrating due to my purchase of the $99 Windows XP upgrade for Windows Millenium (a piece of crap, but it did install the printer), but now cannot seem to use the printer with the upgrade.

Hope there is another solution because this printer is still very operational.

It's up to Sony to write drivers for XP, not Microsoft.

Have you checked the Sony website for either XP or 2000 drivers.....
Windows9x/ME drivers are not designed for the XP environment and will NOT
install.
