Sonic Activation Module

Message keeps popping up "an installation package for Sonic Activation module
cannot be found, try installation again using different package Activate.MSI"

I uninstalled sonic using Add Remove Programs
I looked through the start menu by going through the start - run and
"msconfig" command. Found nothing that looked like sonic

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated

Try AutoRuns from the newly relocated Microsoft SysInternals:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/default.mspx
You'll find the app in the "Processes and Threads" category.

Thanks for your help, got program to check auto-runs etc. Unfortunately i
did not see anything relating to the sonic activation module

I gave you incorrect advice. What you need is a program
called Microsoft Uninstaller Cleanup. Using this you should be
able to locate the Sonic installation and remove it.
