Sonic Activation Module?

I just bought a new Dell XPS400. Now, whenever I start it up or another user
logs on a program called Sonic Activation Module trys to load. It looks for
the file activate.msi but cannot find it. I do not know where it is either.
If I try to cancel the attempted installation an errror pops up that says it
is missing the file and it looks and goes on a never ending cycle. I have to
use the task manager to close it every time I log on to my PC. If anyone has
any ideas, let me know.

Try that - seems to be wittering on about the same thing. The bit you
want is on some CD ROM or other you got with your Dell. - What
possesed you to buy a Dell ?

U will probably find the missing msi files on the D drive...at
least that was where mine were. There were 2 msi's needed to
complete the installation of Sonic. If you point the query to
the D drive, it should work, but your setup could be different
than
mine was.

I had to find this all out on my own but persistence pays off
'sometimes'.

I don't have a Dell but some of these problems transcend
'brands' and are a common problem with some installations of
pre-packaged software. Most of these are done 'overseas'.
