Hi all

Can anyone tell me how to remove the error message that appears everytime
the pc is started? I am runnging WXP - with SPK2. Message box appears stating
Sonic Activation Module is missing- insert a CD. It takes several attempts
at cancelling but it eventually goes until next time we switch on then it
appears again.

Help please!

Sonic is the CD-burning and packet writing software that came with your
system. The actual error itself likely comes from the install program it
uses, InstallShield, and its update manager not being installed.

This link, should tell you how to get the update manager:

Do you use a Sonic program, or did one come with the burner.

If so did you delete something from the Sonic directory, or some other
program/directory you didn't like the look of?
Did you disable or remove something from Windows startup using MSconfig, or
on the advice of a malware site?

It seems to be asking for the Sonic setup CD so it can reinstall the
Activation Module.
