the service packs have a list or pirated keys in them and will lock you out
of windows if
your installation (hypothetical) has these keys.

Hypothetically you would have to find a work around for that, perhaps google
could find you
a hypothetical solution.

Go buy Vista and dump the pirated XP... hehe not that you have such a
thing...

THey could but it still doesn't matter a shit because there are far
more serious exploits to worry about than those fixed in SP2 which YOU
won't get other than through Windows Update.

If you need to do that then you've stated that you have a pirated install,
so the answer is, go out and buy a legit copy, or figure out how to support
it yourself, don't ask for help on an illegal install, that's just plain
stupid.

keep your illegal copy of Windows updated?

I don't know if that indicates you have balls or are just stupid.

Listen there is a full install of service pack 2 here...but as I said you
will get locked out
if your "hypothetical" copy is using one of the pirated keys unless you find
a hypothetical work around.

you must consider buying a copy of Windows ( I would advise you to get vista
when its out)
because you will have other benefits....

if you don't have money now.. plan ahead to get one....
You can attract the money to you, if you think about it seriously...

with a legal copy you avoid losing time with such work arounds....

This is actually the same thing microsoft is doing....

they are trying to persuade the users for the benefits of getting legal
copies...

using a positive reason to go for it, instead of becoming a police company

NOTE: if you are a STUDENT, you might be able to get a free or low cost
version of XP...

linux is still not ready to take over the desktop...

i mean you can use it.. but arrrgggg

and I am a linux fan by the way and have tested just about 80% of all
distros
and 100% of the major ones...
