some thing is wrong with the drivers??

every time i turn on the computer a window pops up saying that it has detected some new hardware but when i click on install driver it can't find the location or driver that it is looking for.....when i bought the computer it did not come with the window's xp home edition cd....what do i do....?

If it did'nt come with a winxp inst.disk, or a recovery cd then you should
contact supplier as *you will need* one at some stage.
The popup may be from winupdate. I do *not* recommend using winupdate
drivers. Use drivers from hardware or sys suppliers web site only.
