I have a document in which I am trying to use hierarchical styles (Heading
1, Heading 2...) I did not create the doc, I am trying to fix it. I want to
define and use a Heading 4 style. I put my cursor within the paragraph. I
selected Format, Styles and Formatting from the menu. In the window (or
task pane or whatever they call it Word 2002) I see a style called Heading
4,Heading 4 Char. I want to define and use just plain old Heading 4. But it
is not in the list. I cannot add it since it is a built in style. How do I
expose it or whatever?
I used to know how to use styles in Word 97. (Can you beleive we just
switched to Word 2002 in our office a couple of months ago?!) I am
definitely no longer understanding how this works.
Thanks
