When I click on the to: in email and try to find a name it does not appear,
but when I type in the name in the address bar it appears. This stated after
I upgraded to office 2007 using xp/pro.
I tried the solution in office help, go, folder list, right click contacts
folder, properties, outlook address tab, and show this folder as an e-mail
address book was checked but it was grayed out. So I did the following as
suggested,
tools, account settings, clicked the address book tab, and under name
outlook address book appears, but the remove icon is grayed out, so I cannot
remove it and reinstall it as suggested.
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
Bobby

You may need to create a new mail profile -- they tend to get corrupted
during an upgrade. Instructions for creating a new mail profile can be found
at http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm.

In your old profile, right-click the root folder of your .PST file in the
folder list and choose Properties, then click the Advanced button. The path
to your .PST file will be shown there. That's the one you want to re-use.
