Software Install problem

Just bought a new program and get the following message:

"the current version of the application could not be determined. Th
setup will now terminate"

I tried the program in another machine with no problems and can als
reload other programs in my machine. Seems like the Installshield won'
recognize this program.

Any help on this would be appreciate

How about asking the company that wrote the program?
