when i try to install a new program it says

The InstallShield Engine (ikernel.exe) could not be launched

then it says either

class not regestered

or

no such interface supported

i have look and tried to fix this but just can't do any of you know th
problem

when i follow those instructions it gives me the following message.

no destination specified for ...

Has anyone figured this out yet? I go the ikernel.exe could not be launched ,
no such interface supported message after trying to install Norton 2006 and
trying to get into Sonic Stage for my MP3 player. I as well have checked the
install shield site and all my settings seem fine. I couldn't even get
Norton to install. I have XP as well. HELP!!!!!!!
