Software conflict with MS XP

I tried to load Roxio CD writer software and have received a message that it
is incompatible with Windows. I don't need the software and would like to
remove it but it does not appear in the Add / Remove list. How to I access
it to remove it? John Fox
 
Unless there is something wrong with the installation CD, Roxio CD Writer
should absolutely be XP compatible. If you are getting this message, it
probably is not installed. If there is an entry in the Start menu, can you
find an Uninstall option there?
 
Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.0 is not compatible with Win XP. You need to
download the patch to bring it to version 5.3. You can get detailed
instructions if you have a problem at www.roxio.com.
