O
owner
I've done something stupid, here's the basics:
I'm running Windows XP Professional v2002 SP2, and tried installing
Easy CD Creator and Adaptec Direct CD (both of which I used on this
computer before I upgraded from Windows ME to XP), and got a warning
that I've got two drivers that are incompatible and will not load:
App/Device Driver File Name Manufacturer Help
CD Recording Software cdralw2k.sys Roxio, Inc.
CD Recording Software cdr4_2k.sys Roxio, Inc.
When I got the error after rebooting, I went ahead and uninstalled both
applications. Now, every time I boot, I still get the same error
message, and the above two drivers are still on my system.
I don't have any system restore points to go back to, so I'm wondering
what the best way is to get these drivers off the system and get my
regular Windows XP cd recording drivers back on.
Thanks
