my computer cannot find this file I have Windows XP home
how do i get it back/
I don't have XP dixc as this was a manufactor install.

If a disk was not provided, there are probably setup files somewhere on the
hard drive. Perhaps on a hidden partition. Use those folders and System
Configuration Utility's "Expand" button to expand a new copy of Volume
Controls. The file sndvol32.exe file normally resides in the
Windows\System32 folder.
NOTE: For this task, you will want to set Folder Options> View to show
hidden/system files and to unhide system protected files.
