SMS 2003 Advanced Client flaged by MS Anti-Spyware

T

Tom G.

Hello:
When installing the SMS 2003 Advanced Client on systems
with the MS Anti-Spyware installed, MS Anti-Spyware
prompts:

An unknown Windows Service Requires Approval
Name: Systems Management Server
Publisher: Microsoft Corporation
Path: C:\Winnt\System32\CCM\CCMexec.exe

The installation will proceed OK if the user allows it,
but the user also has the option to block the
installation. Will this issue be resolved in the final
release? Thanks in advance... Tom

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892375 End users may be prompted to allow or
block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003

I would assume so, but won't promise. This beta product is designed for
personal use. The KB article above is one of two Known Issues linked to
from the Knonw issues in the download page, and is also included in the
Known Issues section of the help for the product in the .509 build.
