Smart Card Reader

I have XP running and it will not let me open my 9 in one smart card reader.
It has the proper USB driver but when I plug it in the 4 drives show up in
Device Manager and when I click on each one of them it says insert the disk.
When I do that I still can not open the media.
Tried the reader in another machine and it works fine.

Please Help

It sounds like you are trying to use a 9-in-1 Memory Card Reader NOT a Smart Card Reader.

Smart Cards are digital ID cards that hold a chip that has a security certificate and other
information on it for use with PKI.
