Small issue after clean XP Pro install...

E

EB

I reformated my HD today then did a clean install of XP
Pro.

Everything is working beautifully except...

Any time I shut down then then re-start (either Restart
or on power up) after XP is fully open, up pops a window
which is the folder containing the files of a music
editing program I installed.

I'm sure it must be something simple but I cannot figure
out how to prevent this.

????

Thanks,

EB

Hi,

Go to Start/Run/Regedit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVers ion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run

Look here for the program/folder in question. If listed, double click the
entry and put the full path name in quotes. And Verify that all the values
in these keys do not contain any incorrect, incomplete, or null entries
(such as "").
