Slower than Win 3.1

Hello
The system PC has Win2000 pro,
it has been very slow, whenever trying to open or close an
application ( outlook, browser, explorer ),
the hard drive crank a lot and a while before open or
close, thing display slowly.

Very diffenert behaviour comparing to my other PC
literally identical.

Anyway to find out the cause and source of issue?

Check the memory sounds like the machine is running on the virtual memory.
If the machines are identical I would swap the memory from the other
machine.
 
One possibility. You allowed Wikndows to "Convert" the file
system from FAT to NTFS and wound up with 512 byte clusters.
 
How "identical" are these machines?

Care to list the specs of each?
