slow xp

my pg is fitted with a 3gh p4 but when i start up between
the xp logo window and welcome screen I get a blank
screen for up to 1.5 min only started in last week HELP

about once a week clean out your prefetch files. it

should help. prefetch loads up all your previous files
that u have used.
