Hi All
When opening user account on home PC it takes
longer than usual also I cannot access the start window
to open any of the programs ie control panel, printers ect.
Is there a virus running un detected on the PC? I have
ran antivirus several times.

You might also want to run a SpyWare detector like "Ad-Aware" by LavaSoft
(free for personal use on their homepage).

Also check that your C: drive (or whatever drive you have Windows on) is not
near full.

Under All Programs, Accessories, System Tools you can run "Disk
Defragmenter"...

You can also right click the task bar, select "task manager", click the
"Performace" tab, and watch your CPU, memory, page file use as you try to
access the profile, control panel, etc... that might indicate where the
slowdown is.

If it's the CPU being used up, go to processes and sort by CPU by clicking
at the top of the column... this will show you what processes are using the
most CPU... if it's memory being used up sort by memory and see whats using
that up.

When you post, it's helpful to include some hardware info... for this issue,
what processor, how much memory, how big your harddrive is and how much of
it is in use would be handy,

Thanks,
