Slow Start

When I boot up in the morning, everything is very slow, especially my
Internet Connection. After I begin using Programs I see a normal operation
for the rest of the day. Is there something wrong with my RAM? My 40 Gig C
Drive is a bit more than half full. What am I missing?

that is a loaded question
because there can be many
issues that affect your pc.

what i would like to suggest is
to first eliminate the most common issues
by using a one of those pc maintenance
programs like system mechanic. i think
there is a 30 day free trial for downloading
and maybe a rebate at a computer store if
you buy it.

if you use this first and utilize all of
its fancy options, you will be eliminating
many of the common causes.

if however after you tuned up your
pc, it is still slow, it will be easier to
begin looking for those exotic
causes afflicting your pc.

just a quick check before proceeding
with the above. how fast or slow is it
when booting in safemode?
