Slow Printing via LPR

I support a fax server which receives print jobs via LPR. This is a high
volume system that was recently upgraded from Windows NT Server 4.0. I was
able to receive 60 print jobs/minute on NT. I am only able to receive 30
print jobs/minute on 2K. I have checked the services and they continue to
run. Does anyone have any ideas?

try to disable the bidirectional support of the printer-
object - it works slowly an not free of failure with LPR-
Ports.
