Slow Printer browsing

We have a NT 4.0 domain with Windows 2000 servers.
Print server is configured as a clustered server in a fully routed network .
The Wins servers for the Nt 4.0 domain are in a sepparate AD domain.

When browsing for a printer from the Nt 4.0 domain the print servers show
after about 3 mins .
There is no problem with domain browsing . each subnet has a master browser .
The PDC is the domain master browser.
Test with browmon or browstat are OK ..

There is no problem attaching to any printer or finding any server in the
network.
If printers are connected using UNC or browse for server , attach to printer
the whole process is very fast
