Have an old MS-DOS program that is being used to print to
a network shared printer (thru queue on W2K server). The
program doesn't close the printer port correctly...so it
takes 30-45 seconds before print job start (or if you exit
out it prints immediately). I found KB# 140036 but that
is only for W95 & W98 - how do I change the port timeout
in XP?
