Slow Boot Process

My Dell lattitude with Win 2000 takes over five minutes to
get to the sign on screen. It used to take 1-2 minutes and
seems to have gotten progressively worse (with added
programs/use/security???)

Have you tried formatting the computer recently? I don't use WIN2000,
I use WINXP. Of course, the more stuff you add to the computer, the
longer the boot times. ALso, try to defrag your computer.

What a coincidence, I'm in Brownsville, as well.
