slipstream XPsp2 into RIS image

I have a base WindowsXP RIS image that I would like to slipstream SP2
into. After extracting SP2 and I run update /integrate:<path> I get an
error saying "Extracted packages cannot be integrated. The /integrate
switch must be used with the original software update package."

am I missing somthing?

Make a new Windows XP CD with SP2 slipstreamed,
then create your RIS image.

Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:

or

AutoStreamer 1.0.33 (preferred)
