Sleep mode

Is there any way to set it up so that my laptop doesn't disconnect from the
internet when it goes into sleep mode? I've looked all over the different
settings and can't find anything. I'm assuming that you cannot customize this
feature, am I right?

I strongly think so, as it disconnects for me, too.
