i changed my display settings by right clicking the mouse and suddenly my
system went into "sleep mode". i could reboot it once, twice, but couldn't
ever get it to stop going into safe mode. now it won't even reboot.
we tried changing the monitor but still have the same problem.
the windows banner does come on, then there is a message about "sleep mode"
and it all goes to sleep.
nothing i try "awakens" it.
