Disable Sleep Mode

Is there a way to disable sleep mode entirely (meaning when the
computer is not logged on to)? We are running into issues where our
users cannot connect to their computers through a VPN connection
because the computer is in sleep mode. No one is logged on the
computer so it goes to sleep, along with it the network card.

There has to be a way around this feature, anyone found one yet?

sorry to reply without an answer, but i have a related issue that someone who
helps you could also help me with: how do i get sleep mode to function again?
the icon for it when i click shut down is greyed out. also, is there a way to
get the processor and fans of the pc to actually stop when in sleep mode (its
noisy)?
