Win XP Pro SP2

Silly aggravation but I play Hearts often and have always been able
to grab the sides to pull the window larger but something has
happened and I'm no longer able to do so. This matter happens
only using Hearts and no other application that I have tried it on.
Can someone point me into a direction that solves this?

Mine won't do it either. And you can't change the appearance of the playing
cards anymore. I used to prefer the little robots that had a blinking chest.
