Single click on icons on my desktop

Can anyone help me to set-up single click ( like the hand used on websites)
for icons on my desktop.

I am running Vista Ultimate

Hi Kenny,

Open Control Panel, Folders icon
Check Single click to open an item

Control Panel>Folder Options>General tab. Under the 'click items as follows'
section,. Click the radio button next to the 'single click to open an item'
option then click OK
