Sing in to MS Net passport when exploring folder?

As far as I know, here are some of the thing that I plan to do on a
client's machine.

Yesterday, I signed on his machine with my hotmail account and that
worked for seveal hours ore reboots.

Today, I guess I will try the registry fix below:
http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/passport1.php

The only thiing remaining is to do a repaire installation of Windows.
 
Hi again -
I have found that in my Documents and Settings/Personal folder, there is a
folder called 'nethood' and inside that there is an icon called 'My Web
Sites on MSN'. If I remove this, then I no longer get the 'sign in' box up.
Under properties, the icon's target is: http://www.msnusers.com/

Perhaps this is what you are experiencing also.

I don't know, I will keep your message.

I created a hotmail account and signed in with that. and that works
also.
