John

I've a very simple question that I can't work out the answer to

What setting do you activate in order to open up a Presentation on a Slide
Show format? I've tried everything and all I can get is "Normal" view. I can
click on the Slide Show and it works the way I wish, but I want the
presentation to open up in Slide Show format - is that possible?

Thanks

Save your presentation as a Slideshow (.PPS)

John -

If I understand you right, you want to click on the program and let the
presentation start automaticlly? If so you can save the presentation as
a Powerpoint show (save as, change to Powerpoint show). That way when
you start the program it starts as a slide show.

You have a few options:

Select the screen icon in the lower left had corner of your monitor
View > Slide Show
Slide Show > View Show

Thanks Steve and Sandy.

I think your suggestion Steve its what I'm after - I just couldn't figure it
out

Thanks

Save your presentation as a show. Choose pps from the Save as file type box.
It will now open as a show without having to start it. Is this what you want
to do?
