Simple MAPI Protocol

I can't use my Address Book in OE 6. When I try, a message comes up saying
OE could not identify email client that it could invoke.
Also that I should turn on Simple MAPI from the email client.

Can anyone translate?

Please ask this question in an Outlook Express newsgroup. This
newsgroup is for a different program, Microsoft Access - it just
happens to be first alphabetically in the microsoft.public. heirarchy.

Scroll down the list and find an OE newsgroup -
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.something as I recall.
