Signing in to Windows Mail.

What a mess Microsoft created by dropping Outlook Express and changing to
Windows Mail. I use MSN as my internet provider and cannot use MSN in
Windows Mail. I set up a Gmail account and every time I try to open Windows
Mail I get the Microsoft Security box asking me to Logon to pop.gmail.com
with my user name and password. I type it in the box and put a check mark in
the box to remember my credentials then click OK. It keeps coming back until
I click the red x to close the box. Does anyone know how to Logon to
pop.gmail.com in Windows Mail and save your sign in information?

Remove the account completely and close/restart WM, rebuild the account.
Check your settings as per:

I have the Gmail account information set correctly because I'm able to send
emails through Windows Mail while online when I right click and use the email
connection. For example a photo - I right click and use the email tab to
send to someone, hit the send tab and the mail goes out without any problem.
Each time I open the Windows Mail program, however, that is when I get the
box to fill in my Logon name and password. I fill it in correctly and mark
to remember the information and click OK. It does nothing but give me the
same request. When I create an email in Windows Mail and click on the send
tab in the email I get the same sign in box. If I go up to the send/receive
tab in Windows Mail and click on send all, sometimes the mail gets sent and
sometimes I have to delete that sign in box several times and then the mail
is sent. Don't know what to make of it.

Sounds like interference from your antivirus program.
Read and heed http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3
If you have McAfee or Norton antivirus, uninstall it, reboot, and try
Windows Mail again. If it still doesn't work, create a new email account
with the same settings as he old one, then delete the old account.
Restart Windows Mail and try it again.
After you get your email working, you will need to install
a non-intrusive antivirus program such as the free Avast.
Whichever new antivirus program you select, be sure to disable
its email scanning option.
