Windows Mail and Gmail Configuration Problem

Hi,
I'm experiencing difficulty in configuring my gmail account with windows
mail (MS Vista Home Premium). Though I can get into my gmail account from
the web using my password I keep getting the error message below when I try
via Windows Mail.Can anyone help out?

Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.', Port: 995,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Try entering your username with no CAPITAL LETTERS, and both with and
without it followed by the portion of you email address starting with @.
Also,
make sure your password has CAPITAL and lowercase letters in the right
places.

Also, make sure your setup follows Gmail's instructions:

These instructions cover both the IMAP and the POP methods of
connecting. Choose one of them, and don't get them mixed up.
