I am trying to connect my gmail account to Windows mail. I used the
directions from Gmail and Windows mail using both POP3 and IMAP. Neither
works. I get this message using POP3. Can you help me?
Thanks, Barb

Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR not supported t1pf2997596poh.0', Port: 995, Secure(SSL):
Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

You will get that error message if you enabled SPA,
which Gmail doesn't support. Go to Tools, Accounts,
select that Gmail account, Properties, Servers, uncheck
the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."
