Windows Mail shows the following error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server:
'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I can access my email box through the browser but Windows Mail doesn't want
to work with the "gmail" or any other settings.
My new Tablet HP runs also with NORTON antivirus program. I disabled the
protections for incoming and outgoing messages as well as all the other
possible protections but I'm still unsuccessful...and frustrated.

Any suggestions to make Windows Mail working with gmail settings?

Thanks a lot
Gianfranco

Your clock is fast.

You need to change the Port No from 110 to 995, on the advanced tab of your
gmail account properties.
