Sign On To Get Communities Help

Hi, I use to have MSN mail but now I use Windows thru Verizon. I can't sign
on with my Verizon email sign on. I have to sign on using my old MSN sign
on. How can I change the sign on from one to the other?

If you mean signing on to Microsoft Communities, that has to be with a
Passport or Windows Live ID.

In Windows Mail you can access the newsgroups without doing that by going to
Tools | Options and unchecking the "Use newsgroup message rating features"
option.

Thanks I did that. But when I'm in Windows Mail and click on "Help" on the
toolbar, I can't get in with my Verizon sign in. Shouldn't I be able to get
it from plain Windows Mail with my Verizon sign in?

No. You're not dealing with a Verizon Web page but a Microsoft web page.
Passport and Windows Live are Microsoft services. Windows Mail is a much
better way to access the Microsoft Communities though.

Frank, Thanks, read the other message I wrote you in my question re "Windows
Live Mail" with regard to Windows being a MS product too and what would
happen if I didn't originally have MSN as opposed to now having Verizon as my
ISP.......
